From Mansfield Town Station, go down the steps onto the busy dual-carriageway visible from the west end of the platforms. At
the bottom of the steps turn LEFT. Walk straight on through two sets of traffic lights. You will pass the Henley Community Hall on your
left, but to get in (if the gate in the railings is locked) you may have to go on to St. Mark's Church at the third set of lights. Turn left past the Church and left again up the narrow driveway.
It should take ten minutes at the most.
Buses that stop in Portland Street (ask for Quarry Lane) 200 metres from St Mark's and Henley Community Hall:
1. Pronto services (Nottingham-Mansfield-Chesterfield) every 20 minutes daytime (hourly evenings / Sundays).
2. Veolia (Dunn-Line) service 18 (Mansfield - Crown Farm) runs hourly in the daytime (not Sunday).
3. TentBarton 3C (Nottingham - Hucknall - Kirkby - Mansfield) runs hourly in the daytime (not Sundays)
For all other services, either get off at Mansfield bus station
and walk (about 15 minutes) or change onto Pronto or 3C heading for
Nottingham, or service 18 to Crown Farm. For timetables,
