TO REACH THE HENLEY COMMUNITY HALL BY TRAIN
Train

Mansfield lies on the Robin Hood line part way between Nottingham and Worksop. Trains now run seven days a week. For timetable, CLICK

From Mansfield Town Station, go down the steps onto the busy dual-carriageway visible from the west end of the platforms. At the bottom of the steps turn LEFT. Walk straight on through two sets of traffic lights. You will pass the Henley Community Hall on your left, but to get in (if the gate in the railings is locked) you may have to go on to St. Mark's Church at the third set of lights. Turn left past the Church and left again up the narrow driveway. It should take ten minutes at the most.


TO REACH THE HENLEY COMMUNITY HALL BY BUS OR COACH
Bus

Buses that stop in Portland Street (ask for Quarry Lane) 200 metres from St Mark's and Henley Community Hall:
1. Pronto services (Nottingham-Mansfield-Chesterfield)  every 20 minutes daytime (hourly evenings / Sundays).
2. Veolia (Dunn-Line) service 18 (Mansfield - Crown Farm) runs hourly in the daytime (not Sunday).
3. TentBarton 3C (Nottingham - Hucknall - Kirkby - Mansfield) runs hourly in the daytime (not Sundays)

For all other services, either get off at Mansfield bus station and walk (about 15 minutes) or change onto Pronto or 3C heading for Nottingham, or service 18 to Crown Farm. For timetables, CLICK

If walking, leave Mansfield bus station the way the buses enter and turn LEFT along the dual carriageway. When you pass under the railway bridge, follow the instructions above for train passengers.


TO REACH THE HENLEY COMMUNITY HALL ON FOOT

Walking Instructions depend on where you start from! See above for routes from the bus and railway stations. If you are asking for directions, all these places are near St. Mark's and the Henley Community Hall: Imperial Laundry; Pizza Hut Restaurant (but not the take away in town); Titchfield Park; Watermeadows; Currys/PC World.


TO REACH THE HENLEY COMMUNITY HALL BY CAR
A car

FROM NOTTINGHAM A60: As you enter the town, when you see KFC on your left and PIZZA HUT to your right, turn RIGHT at the next lights. St. Mark's is on your left. Immediately after the Church, turn LEFT into the drive to the car park for the Church and Henley Community Hall.

FROM NEWARK A617: Follow signs on new relief road signposted A60 Nottingham. At A60 traffic lights, turn RIGHT towards Mansfield (away from Nottingham) and follow above directions.

FROM M1 J27 A608/A611: Follow signs to Mansfield. After turning LEFT by West Notts. College, follow A60 directions above.

FROM DERBY A38 & M1 J28: Quarter of a mile past the bus depot, turn RIGHT at the traffic lights (with bus station in front of you). Pass under railway bridge, get in middle lane to go straight on at next lights. Then keep in left lane, through the next lights and LEFT at next lights with St. Mark's on your left. Immediately after church, turn LEFT into driveway to car park for Church and Henley Community Hall.

FROM A617 CHESTERFIELD & M1 J29: Continue to follow Mansfield signs (do not turn right onto new relief road at Pleasley signposted A617 Newark). When you see Civic Centre and Baptist Church on your right, turn RIGHT at traffic lights (As you turn, TESCO on left, Baptist Church on right). Carry straight on through many lights. When you pass under railway bridge, follow A38 instructions above.

FROM A60 WORKSOP: Turn LEFT onto ring road (by miner's statue) and follow signs A60 Nottingham. Turn LEFT at lights (Gala Bingo on right; Lucas Garage to left as you turn). In quarter of a mile, with traffic lights in sight, turn right into drive just before St. Mark's Church.
